
M. Tamara Brummer has worked to engage and educate communities for close to ten years. Most recently, Tamara worked for Service Employees International Union in various capacities. As a national Student Organizer, Tamara organized college students to support the right to organize for service workers on their campus. After transitioning to the position of International Organizer, she worked in various cities organizing and training food service workers, as well as engaging the communities in which they worked and lived. Currently, Tamara is pursing a M.S. in Urban Policy at Milano the New School for Management and Policy. Tamara has focused her attention to policy and program implementation and assessment. Tamara has a B.S. in Sociology from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Past clients include Common Ground and the New York City Department of Juvenile Justice.
